Bruno Tanquerel is a French artist and architect currently residing in Bangkok, Thailand. Since 1975, Tanquerel has been actively involved with group and individual exhibitions in South-East Asia, France and USA. He joins the ranks of other urban street artists such as Banksy in painting a room at the Carlton Arms Hotel, USA.
Tanquerel does not only urban art, but also conceptual sculptural pieces. His latest solo exhibition in Penang features urban canvas works, inspired by his fascination of Asian facial features and culture- which will be featured at this year’s Art Apart Fair.
